Prompt
This past week, your friends have been doing a lot of online shopping and really wish they could see all of their orders in on spot. Design a desktop interface that would allow them to see all their orders in one place.
Goals
1. Create an organized design file that allows for anyone in the team to understand and located specific components regarding the project.
2. Show how I prioritize features/product requests.
3. Show how I think about design trade offs.
4. Create an organized engineering handoff system.

File Organization
A good rule of thumb I follow when creating a file for any design project is by asking myself. "Would someone who knows nothing about the project be able to navigate and locate specific parts of the project?" Through the use of organized pages and emojis the goal was to create a quick and intuitive file structure for engineers, pm's and anyone in the company to quickly access their intended asset.

Feature Prioritization
With the help of a Notion doc and the Kanos method I was able to quickly categorize and prioritize all the different types of features this platform might contain.

User Flow
When creating the user flows I deemed it important to create a version 2 and a version 1. V2 being if the team had all the time and money what would be the best features and flow in order for the customers to have the best experience. V1 is creating a flow with only the essentials. This flow would be the case if engineers needed to cut certain steps out of the experience in order to meet deadlines and be cost effective.

Engineering Handoff
The last component to this design challenge was demonstrating the ability to create a handoff structure that gives the engineering team everything they need in order to ship the product. The ability to redline is a feature Figma includes in their application but I deemed it important to include these annotation in the case that an engineer isn't familiar with the feature. In the end every team has their own handoff system and it's really up to the designers and engineers to come to an understand regarding what works best for them.

Final Design
The intention for the final interface design was to make sure that the products being ordered are the center of attention. The white minimalistic design seemed to be the best method of achieving this. After all the goal for this project was to create a tool customers could use in order to locate all of their purchases.
Reflection
In the end I am content with how this project turned out given the time I was allowed. This was my first design challenge ever and I am immensely grateful I was given the opportunity to challenge my skills. I wrote a reflection right after I submitted this project if you care to read here.
